Darrent Williams Killed...
According to local news, he was shot in a drive by shooting on Speer Blvd. at 2:20 this moring. He was later pronounced dead at the local hospital.
What a crappy way to start the new year :(

Yeah I just found out about it this morning as well. He was riding in a hummer limo and some car just pulled up next to them and starting shooting.

His teammate (can't remember name), was interviewed on 'Cold Pizza' this am and he said D.M. had been at a club earlier and that there was some type of altercation. He said Darrent wasn't involved, but likely an innocent bystander...

I just saw this on ESPN. Thats horrible, I just remember during one game he had a pick or soemthing and pulled his helmet off and had a mohawk. It was funny. Its too bad he's gone.
ESPN said that Javon Walker was in the car but wasnt injured.

I'm tellin ya, NFL players and nightclubs are not a good thing.....Ray Lewis and the stabbing incident, that Seahawks player that got his skull busted last year, now this.....

This is terribly sad..he was only 24 and a great CB..i thought he was really going to be good..wow i was in total shock when i saw it roll across the bottom line..this really sucks
