Rate my Playoff Fantasy Draft!

Well I had pick 4...probably the last spot I wanted...I wanted either 1/2/6...figured 1 i take LT, 2 i take Westbrook, 6 id take Garcia and something...

Anyway, heres how things played out...ill do the 1st 3 round completly, then just my picks.

There are 6 guys, you start 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 1 def, 1 coach per week, you can only draft 2 qb, 4 rb, 4 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 1 def, then last overall round you have a rb/wr to draft whoever. Scoring is typical...1 pt per 25 yds passing, 1 pt per 10 receiving/rushing, 6 for tds, minor adjustments we get 3 pts per defensive stat and for coach you get 10 points per win.

So, if any of you do or have done fantasy playoff drafts you know the key is trying to get the most games out of the players...sometimes the best player isnt the best pick if they lose in a 1 game.

1.4 Peyton Manning
1.5 Reggie Bush
1.6 Drew Brees

Really didnt want Manning, I think he beats KC then probably loses to Balt...if I get 3 games out of him...ill be thrilled!!! Just saw a shot at him going off this week, then anything else is just bonus...Not sure who I see coming out of the AFC could be 4 teams, Chargers, Ravens, Patriots, Colts...

Round 2

2.4 Shaun Alexander
2.3 Marvin Harrison
2.2 Phillip Rivers
2.1 Tom Brady

I see the Seahawks getting 2 games, maybe even 3...in which case Shaun would be a steal. At this point thinking maybe I should have taken Shaun in the 1st and Brady here...bc I kinda see the Patriots going further then Colts, or Shaun in 1st and if Peyton was there...Garcia woulda fell to me...doh!

Round 3
3.1 Joseph Addai
3.2 Thomas Jones
3.3 Matt Hasselbeck
3.4 Laurence Maroney
3.5 Marian Barber
3.6 Deuce McAllister

Was happy to get Maroney here, had the Dillon or Maroney debate...with how my draft is playing out im hoping the Patriots and Colts meet up in the AFC Championship game.

Round 4
In Round 4 I took my first WR...there was better talent out there, like TO, Colston, etc...but I looked for value and more games here, so I took Reggie Brown. I see Philly in the Bowl, so 4 games out of Reggie will get more total points then 1 game from TO and/or Colston.

Round 5
Rbs are getting thin, and while I dont think the Bears are going too far...I see Seattle and Chicago meeting in Round 2...so I took Cedric Benson...so should Seattle lose and I lose Alexander...I have a 2nd RB to start...Benson should be good for a few.

Round 6
Finding a lot of Bears aren't being taken...theyre a #1 seed...and figure if they get 1 win Im getting more then what the others are giving them...so I grabbed Bernard Berrian here...figure its a lock for a WR in the 2nd round.

Round 7
Baltimore Defense was taken right ahead of me...so I quickly grabbed the Eagles D. Again, I see them in the Bowl so getting 4 games out of a defense is a good amount of points.

Round 8
I have Peyton as my 1st QB...I can grab a 1st Round QB who is likely to lose, ie: Romo, Eli, Pennington, or Trent Green and Rex Grossman still sit there...Green is tempting because he plays Peyton so Im guarenteed 1 goes through, but Rex has a bye so...I can now pull for Indy to win...and then I have 2 Qbs through to round 2. Rex is the best QB left to take.

Round 9
By now Im getting to the point where there isnt a ton left...I could grab a Kicker early, some TEs have gone, or I can grab a Coach and get 10 points per win...Well if the Birds go to the Bowl thats 30 points...sure why not, I grabbed Andy Reid right here.

Round 10
Surprised how much the Seattle WRs have fallen, all of them are still on the board here, so I grabbed Deion Branch as my 2nd starter in Round 1. Right now I have 3 WRs in the NFC, figure between Reggie, Berrian, and Branch, 2 of the 3 should meet in the NFC Championship, which is a plus.

Round 11
David Akers went right ahead of me, so I decided to grab my 1st Charger, welcome aboard Nate Kaeding.

Round 12
With Kaeding on a bye in Round 1, and not much else out there other then backups...figured why not just got back to back kicker, grabbed Mr Clutch, Adam Vinatieri.

Round 13
Well we got some Colts, we got some Patriots, lets add another Charger, Eric Parker was a nice find in Round 13

Round 14
Stayed with the Super Chargers, RBs are dead by now and figured why not add a player who could be in the Super Bowl...Took Michael Turner here

Round 15
Guess its time to address the miserable TE position...Not really caring for anything but I will grab up another falling seahawk...Jerramy Stevens

4 more Rounds but I wont bore you with the backups and what not...
