Israel plans nuclear strike on Iran?

There are reports that Israel is planning on striking Iran's nuclear facilities with tactical nuclear bombs. Can you blame Israel for planning this? Iran's leader has stated that Iran will, "wipe Israel off the map," several times. Even if Iraq goes away we are going to have to deal with Iran in the next 2 years. Thoughts?

In my reading of this article, this stands out.
"Military analysts said the disclosure of the plans could be intended to put pressure on Tehran to halt enrichment, cajole America into action or soften up world opinion in advance of an Israeli attack."
It also states that this plan would be used only after a conventional attack fails or is impossible, or in the case of American unwillingness to intervene.

you can't blame Israel for wanting to do this simply because of the words coming from the iranian prez on the global stage...i have a feeling some of their words may come to fruition over the coming years
