First of all, let me answer the question, does he deserve the blame? Hell yes he does. He single handedly lost the game for Dallas. Now that people have figured out that he is a runner, they stack up on him. He was just someone people hadn't seen before, and he was blowing past them. You must not forget that there was a reason why he was behind Bledsoe in the first place, he just wasn't there yet. Guess what, he's still not. He might have surprised some people, but let's not name him the Donovan McNabb or Mike Vick type. He's plain and simply not. I never thought there ever should've been as much hype around him, he's a buzz that came and went.

It didn't help that Romos numbers started to dip once he was getting caught up in the celebrity hoopla. Once all the Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood rumors were going on he was eating it up and I think he got over confident because of it. He is only an average QB with an average arm and above average mobility.
