    PS3 already out doing Xbox360?

By Cornelius Wilson on 01/07/07 at 10:00 PM

Sony has announced that have reach their goal and sold over 1 million PlayStation 3 units in North America. This makes the PlayStation 3 the fastest selling console Sony has ever launch. Xbox 360 sold only 600,000 units from their November launch to the second weed on January.

Only 197,000 PS3's were sold on launch day, less than half of what was originally forecast.

Sony is still promising that they will ship off 6 million PlayStation 3's by the end of March 2007.

I will wait till it hits $150. Then PS5 will be out by that time. I guess PS2 will be good enough for me.

So PS3 will reach the $150 mark around 2013. Not bad wait wise. I will never forget the day I got my PS2 and my wife and I had someone buy it since she worked at Circuit City and she "held" it aside. My buddy walked in with the cash and another couple was asking for any left and my wife said no, then D walked up and she went and got it. He said the looks that they gave him on the way out was something. He didn't think he would make it out the store.

And then we played Dynasty Warriors II for about ten hours that Sunday. A nice Washington State day not spent fishing.

PS3 wouldnt have been so bad if they didnt force the blu ray player on it. Im happy with my 360 and eventually Ill get a Wii instead of a Ps3.

If you guys have an HDTV, you NEED to buy PS3, its amazing...it doesnt look near as good on regular tvs...also if you have HDTV buy component cables, they will make it even look better then the cables that come with.
