I think this is going to be a great game, won by whatever team has the ball last. I predict the Chargers win it 21-14 with LT going for 120 and 2 scores.

Except for the fact that Brady had a weak game. He threw three interceptions, and looked distraught by the San Diego Defense at times. But I will admit that it was a great game, and the Patriots turned out a great win.

I can't feel sorry for Marty. The coaching staff has, and had, a big part in each game. Especially in the play-offs. So to know that it's partially his fault for losing all those play-offs, doesn't make me feel sorry for him.

To put forth an honest, concerted effort as the team did and not come out with a victory is one of THE valuable lessons in competitive sports. It is TOO BAD that it happens to him such a preponderence of the times he finds himself in a big game. I do not feel sorry for him, nor do I construe that he has any use for those sentiments from anyone. Actually, I view it as his gain, in a way, to be the recipient of such circumstances. He will have his day...

As a Chargers fan I felt I saw incompetence on Sunday. You simply can't make the calls the coaching staff made on Sunday without some changes for next year. Yes they finished with the best record, but what does that mean? Nothing if you lose your first game in the play-offs.
The Chargers coaching staff beat themselves when they let Brady drive down the field at the end of the second half and took Tomlinson out of the second half by abandoning the run. Then they blew a challenge and didn't challenge a possible TD costing them a costly time out. You can't allow yourself to blow a 14-3 lead near half time and stop calling plays to LT when he is on fire.
It doesn't hurt that Vincent Jackson dropped so many passes!
Marty should stay around but I would say changes need to be made in the coaching staff starting with whoever was responsible upstairs and providing play challenge guidance.
