Van Halen Reunion Tour with David Lee Roth
It looks like Van Halen will be kicking off a "Reunion Tour" and David Lee Roth will be back singing.
A Van Halen reunion tour, with David Lee Roth back in the fold after 22 years, is in the works, with a Las Vegas launch looking good.
A late April date at the Palms' new venue, The Pearl, is "99 percent" likely, a source said.
It would be the latest coup for Palms owner George Maloof, who will open the 2,500-seat venue with a lineup that includes Tool, Evanescence, Gwen Stefani and possibly Van Halen, all in the first month.
A 40-date tour is being discussed.
Roth fronted the band from 1974 to 1985 before going solo. He was close to rejoining about 11 years ago, but a blowup caused another rift.
Van Halen's last tour, in 2004, grossed about $40 million, with Sammy Hagar as the lead.
Tool would open the Palms venue March 16-17, Evanescence would follow on March 17, and Stefani is set for the April 21 grand opening.

Van Halen was never the same after David left. They should have stayed together as David Solo career wasn't all that. See what rifts can do LOL.

Van Halen....geeze...those guys are still around. DLR is annoying to me. He thinks he is the greatest thing in music. Now Tool on the other hand. There is a badass band.

I really wouldnt say it is a reunion tour...Michael Anthony the original bassist for Van Halen was recntly kicked out of the band by Eddie Van Halen due to him and Eddie getting into an arguement lately..Michael is going to be replaced by Eddies 15 yr old son Wolfgang who will be playing bass...
To me it would be a reunion tour if it was all of the original members of the band...I have always been a huge fan of Van Halen but never could really stand David Lee Roth too much, to me he seems like the type who lives for the attention he gets or did get from the press...I also feel he was never that great of a singer....He is more of an entertainer...My personal opinion is Sammy Hagar is a way better singer than David Lee Roth ever was or ever will be...Thanks EdI only trade by Beckett price guide, not eBay comp or SV, TV..I also do not collect any Panini or Donruss Baseball products..

Sorry i got a good laugh on that one.
the Bee Gees are old, so are donny and marie and lawrence welk.
Bands like Van Halen dont get OLD.
Neither do Bands like Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd.
just my opinion.
I remember seeing VH at the original Monsters of Rock concert. it was at JFK stadium, youve heard of that right?lol im just funnin.
I do prefer Hagar to Roth though.

I saw this on VH1 Classic a couple of days ago and was glad to see DLR return. IMO, he is a much better frontman for Van Halen than Sammy ever was. I just hope the guys in the band can keep their ego's in check and stay reunited! They were always on my top 5 list of favorite and best rock bands.
