Is war with Iran inevitable?

Iran will likely get a nuclear bomb within a few years if unchecked. The Europeans and the UN have already started to place sanctions on the country and condemn their nuclear program. Iran is also a major force in Iraq behind the killing of our service members. Will Israel site around while Iran develops a nuke? The vast majority of Iranian people want to be part of the international community and many despise the Iranian regime. They took over in 1979 and 25+ years of promises have not yet realized.

Yes it is very much inevitable just as the iraq war was

sooner its dealt with the better hopefully it goes smoother than iraq

I think it is, and I think its the next step in progressive movement in eliminating terrorism...do i think it will happen...probably not...because whoever campaigns for the next presidancy will be using everything anti-war to support them.

I don't think war with Iran will happen. To begin with, they aren't very good at fighting. Iran and Iraq hate each other and if they decided to point their guns at Iraq and the US, they would be crushed. I think Iraq would love another opportunity to go at Iran again.

Chris, not sure how the war in Iraq was inevitable. If you could explain what you meant by that, I would be most appreciative.

Would have gotten them? He had them. Especially in the early '90s he had them. He probably shipped them out to the Syrian desert for safe keeping which is why we haven't found in the country.

No I didn't. I don't think the war was inevitable, necessary, or otherwise. I wanted to know why you thought it was, and you thought he would have acquired something of which he already had access to.
