I used to spend a ton on baseball and never got too much out of it, but I do have a decent Arod collection from trading. I spent enough that it almost cost a divorce. Now I mainly buy racing because my sons also enjoy the cards... box or two here and there and a few retail packs mostly. Les has really helped bring the cost down with the case breaks. My vice is going to Wal-Mart and other retail stores. If I see a box of retail for $10 or $20, I can't seem to stop myself from getting one. Luckily they don't stay too stocked up on them at my local Wal-Mart. I go to the card shop once in a while for supplies mostly. Their per pack cost there is almost two to three times what I end up paying per pack of hobby from a case break box, so I only tend to spend maybe $20-$30 at the card shop a month. I'd still hate to add it all up and I still hear it from my wife. I'm guessing I may spend anywhere from $100-$200 a month sometimes. If I sell something on eBay, the money gets recycled when I turn around and use it for Stewart cards. I just spent probably $200 or so I made off eBay on a couple boxes and some decent Stewart cards. I'm sure I will eventually slow down and just buy a box here and there or pick up a cool Stewart card once in a while and lay off so much of the retail stuff. I'm just straight up addicted. i lay off the high dollar stuff and buy just very few Legends packs...you'll never see me pay more than $7 or so for a pack of cards. I can't imagine spending over $100 for a pack of cards that you may get squat out of...too much risk for my blood.

HMMM...what can I get for $999.00...how about 9 boxes of PP Eclipse racing and still have some change left over. Man...now $999 for a pack is truly nuts. What has happened to the hobby???

If you got the money to do it i see nothing wrong with it at all, my motto is you only live once why live paycheck to paycheck and never do anything fun because you think what bills that money could pay. If you do that whats the point of living really.

On these cards are the realy autographs or are they just made into the card?

Back 10 years or so when i was a youngin i never see cards like these with game jerseys and stuff
