Global Warming: The Cold, Hard Facts?
A very good article on Global Warming! Most Americans listen to Al Gore of PHDs!
Global Warming, as we think we know it, doesn't exist. And I am not the only one trying to make people open up their eyes and see the truth. But few listen, despite the fact that I was the first Canadian Ph.D. in Climatology and I have an extensive background in climatology, especially the reconstruction of past climates and the impact of climate change on human history and the human condition. Few listen, even though I have a Ph.D, (Doctor of Science) from the University of London, England and was a climatology professor at the University of Winnipeg. For some reason (actually for many), the World is not listening. Here is why.
What would happen if tomorrow we were told that, after all, the Earth is flat? It would probably be the most important piece of news in the media and would generate a lot of debate. So why is it that when scientists who have studied the Global Warming phenomenon for years say that humans are not the cause nobody listens? Why does no one acknowledge that the Emperor has no clothes on?
Believe it or not, Global Warming is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide (CO2). This in fact is the greatest deception in the history of science. We are wasting time, energy and trillions of dollars while creating unnecessary fear and consternation over an issue with no scientific justification. For example, Environment Canada brags about spending $3.7 billion in the last five years dealing with climate change almost all on propaganda trying to defend an indefensible scientific position while at the same time closing weather stations and failing to meet legislated pollution targets.
No sensible person seeks conflict, especially with governments, but if we don't pursue the truth, we are lost as individuals and as a society. That is why I insist on saying that there is no evidence that we are, or could ever cause global climate change. And, recently, Yuri A. Izrael, Vice President of the United Nations sponsored Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) confirmed this statement. So how has the world come to believe that something is wrong?

The debate between whether or not global warming exists is a flawed one. It would be ideal if scientists had another Earth to compare it to, but since we don't it is tough to gauge if the trends and phenomena observed are naturally caused or have human influence.
Politics and science aside, is it such a bad thing to not fill the sky with whatever pumps out of smoke stacks, cars, etc. Or is it too much to ask to recycle, not dump tons of garbage into the lakes, rivers, and oceans of the world. You drive through California or New Jersey and in certain areas the sky becomes brown. Purely based upon aesthetics you would think people would want to change that.

As my doctor says we`ve only been keeping weather stats for the past 2 or 300 years. Earths been around alot longer than that. Who knows if this isn`t just a cycle the earth goes through every so often.

This article debate WHAT causes Global Warming. Almost every scientist believes the earth is warming right now, or just starting to cool. We go through cycles. That is proven. Most scientists believe the likely causes of global warming are the sun heating, the core of the earth, volcanoes, solar flares from the sun, and possibly that the earth revolves around the sun a little closer or further as the years go by. We can't rotate at the exact distance over thousands of years!

That is not a bad thing. But the point of the paper is BILLIONS are spent trying to stop humans from warming the earth, when there is no proof that humans are the cause of a global warming. France and other European countries want us to sign the Kyoto Treaty and spent more money, both costing the US billions if not trillions of dollars on a theory. That is the point of the paper and my point. Let's not scare everyone into believing something that is not proven. Let's not spend billions on a hunch.

Another point. I bet if you walked the streets on America, Europe or anywhere else in the world and asked if humans cause global warming you will get a yes probably 95% of the time. Why is this? Because people listen to Al Gore and the news writers and never hear people from MIT, London University or other experts in the field.

Like I said, the debate is a flawed one since there is no control to compare it to. One side presents evidence that global warming does not exist and the other presents evidence that is does exist. Choose what you want to believe.
Our government blows money on useless stuff on a daily basis, so if there is no global warming, big deal. Curbing the spending here might be a start, but until they stop blowing millions are other things, it is a non-issue.

So, when you have NO facts, just spend? So lets spend money of drugs that have no evidence of curing cancer, but some guy says that he can cure cancer? We would be broke as a nation if we just spent money on everything without facts.

There are scientists that have facts that state global warming does exist. Conversely, there are scientists that have facts that global warming does not exist. Science is a business, so just as I said, choose what you want to believe.
