Hwo do you keep track of what cards you have or do you?

when you open a pack do you write em all down or whatever or do you eep track at all or just your main cards

I keep track of my better cards that I know should be traders. I also keep track of my jeff gordon collection I seperate all my cards I have of J. G. by year. I log what I have on Microsoft Word numerically. My doubles I keep seperate and use then as traders. I have well over 1800 different Jeff Gordon card. I have around 500 doubles. I store them in a 3000 count box. Cards all have soft sleeve, My better ones are in top loads.

Well, lets see. If there not race-used or Autographed, they go back into the box from which they came and they go on a shelf. Until I decide to do something with them, and uselly my local hobby shop loves when I come in with a large box.

Whenever I open packs or boxes, I post the cards I pull on my site. That way it's easier for me to keep up with what I have. I also keep track of all cards I have in my PC, and list each & every one on my site so I can keep up with what I need and don't need. I need to get better at deleting cards from my lists after trades are made though. Sometimes I wait too long and end up forgetting about what I've traded.

We have two boxes and the cards are seperated by year & set..and for the most part are in order by number. When we get more I usually stack them on the computer desk until I can get them on the site and into the box.

My Brian Vickers and JJ Yeley I know exactly which ones I have and what I need. They're all in order in a binder. I have cardboard (the ones from the card packs) in the spots where a card should go when I get it. Everyone else's are like that too...thanks to me. I love them all being organized! lol

I keep track of Mine by putting them in Penny sleeves, top loaders then the appropiate box ie (football, basketball etc..) and also by listing them in "my collection" on beckett.com, that way I can update the current prices every week or when ever I have time.

i usually sort my Steelers into a box of their own, Bettis goes in his own box...still in the process of getting all that i have of him listed on Beckett but i know i'm approaching 800, not counting dupes.

its all on my head...honestly...i know basically every card i have in my head...maybe not to sit here and rattle them off but if i go somewhere and im looking for a player and find cards of him ill know if i have it or not by looking through them...

As for my Elliott Sadler, Denny Hamlin, and Reed Sorenson cards, I keep them in binders. I have them in order by year, set, and number. I left spaces for the cards I don't have. I used the little cardboard things that come in the packs of cards to write what I don't have on them and put them in the spaces.

i have found that the white cardboard stretches the pocket in the 9 card sleeves. when you do get the card it slides around and may fall out. i quit using those awhile back. you girls should rethink that. i had a reed auto slide out a bit and get damaged.

on keeping track, right now i am kinda unorganized. i am waiting for my bil to finish my new site. that site will have a database editing system complete with drop down boxes. the original uploading of cards will be hard but after it will be a breeze.

i have two plastic card boxes i have all my 06 and 07 trade cards in. that sits by the computer.
