I collect because I love my drivers...and it's a relaxing, fun hobby to have. I love tearing through boxes & packs & opening my mailbox to find cards to add to my collections

I enjoy the feeling when sets get completed. And the joy of my youngest son looking at cards with me.

I've always collected all sorts of things since I was young, from green army men back in the early 70's,to baseball back in the mid 70's, mustang and ford models in early 80's, hotwheels early 90's,and after my son was born Nascar. I got started in Nascar, when i met Dick Trickle at Maple Grove Raceway in Pa, got his autograph on Ford racing poster. This got me started into Nascar, I watched first race, cant remember where, and picked out the Ford Quality Care car, at that time driven by Dick Trickle and Lake Speed. Later the car was driven by Dale Jarrett, and thats who I stuck with. I am a little disapointed to see Nascar let in the riceburners. The trading cards started on my son's first birthday, when a friend of mine gave my son some 95 maxx premier plus packs for his birthday. The rest is history. I took 5 years off of collecting and Nascar, and am now back into it again. I dont recall any trading sites back when i started, but then again I never looked. I am so glad I got back into it, and to find this site, and the NUTS site.

I love when I can add a card to my JJ Yeley or Brian Vickers collections...and its a lot of fun and gives me something to do..I'd be real bored if I didnt have cards!
