Jamal Lewis cut from Ravens
Baltimore Ravens waived running back Jamal Lewis, the team's all-time leading rusher (7,801 yards) and 2000's No. 1 draft pick (fifth overall), on Wednesday.
"We are involved in negotiations with [Lewis], and there has been good dialogue. Jamal has been a significant contributor to us in the last seven seasons. It's our hope to have him back with the Ravens," Ravens GM and executive vice president Ozzie Newsome said in a statement.
Lewis was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2003 when he rushed for 2,066 yards, the second most in NFL history. He rushed for 1,132 yards in 2006.

Now i know the Ravens are saying all the right things about wanting to resign him but....If the Patriots cut Corey Dillon...why resign a guy with a history of ankle and knee injuries when you could add a relatively fresh guy in Dillon?

Raiders. That's all that's needed to be said. He could fill our void. Him and Jordan as a tag team, oh the possibilites.

If Cleveland doesn't get a RB in the draft they should grab him. The Titans would be another team.

Well we can address oline needs in the draft. And, yes, they are similar style runners but it's power followed by power with Fargas comming in as the slasher of the group. I still think it's a good RB core.

They should pass, they have enough RB injuries as it is. And Williams could be a star in the league
