I've tried a few from the first page, but have gotten quite a few duds. I've gone through the TTM database and found a few successes. Some of the golfers that people mentioned having success with earlier, I have found to be non-respondent or the emails have been invalid.
I try and check the teams/schools website for email address first. It doesn't take too long once you have done a few. I've probably emailed 2-4 people a night for the last week now. So far, though, no successes besides Rick Steves, the travel writer.

Can't always expect a response. But I don't want to bother because of the RTS's. It is also a pain how many pages it is. Should be alot less. I wonder how many individual posts are off this thread with email addresses. Probably would have been better suited to let peple post stuff, then add it to amaster list and delete their post to cut down the pages.
Sure I use a form letter doing email requests but still a pain(and before anyone complains that I do that, it's just easier) My TTM requests are when I make them personal.

I try and make all my email requests somewhat personal, even if they go through a secretary, I figure it looks as though I put in the time. I realize that it'll take awhile before I start seeing some responses come through the door, but I'm hoping that my luck is as good as what others have been saying with 4-5 day turnarounds. I'm trying to send to coaches and some not so famous athletes, motorcycle racers, that may have a quicker turnaround compared to star athletes.
It has become very addicting to do, a sic hobby now I must say. I haven't ventured into letters TTM yet, as the postage is something I do not want to do too much of. I also want to get my printer hooked up, been broken for awhile. Hate to think I'd have to buy a new one.
Anyone who has had success through email, are there people you have found to be better signers than others, quicker signers compared to others? Could you PM me please. I'm looking for NCAA coaches and some retired or older players .

So since no one posts in here anymore and most people refuse to share their "hard to find emails" I will try to start it back up. Other people please contribute.

E-Mails
As I suggested in a previous message, the TTM Manager (https://www.sportscardforum.com/ttm.php) has a MUCH easier format to use, both for research and for reporting successes. I am hoping that more of you will decide to use it.
I know that some of you like to post messages (as do many on other celebrity websites). I would like to make a couple of points, however:
1) The TTM Manager is indexed by sports and includes a "Player list" for each sport;
2) There is also a "Recent success" section for each sport;
3) Once you register, unlike some of the bigger celebrity sites, you can store all of your information in the "My TTM report"; and
4) You can add player information immediately (unlike some sites, which may require some sort of approval process).
dw
P.S. I am not associated with SCF - just a happy user with over 300 autographs in the last 10 months from JUST e-mails and website contact boxes.
One last comment: work SMARTER, not HARDER!

I use and love the TTMM but I feel that if all the addresses on here are added to the master list on the front page it will be easier for everyone.

It's no problem I dont see a reason to hide it from football fans if I already got my autograph. I'll keep searching for unlisted ones, test them, then add them to this and the TTMM.
