to further prove my point...raul mondesi's cards actually went down after being traded to the yankees, in addition to that paul quantrill is a reliever...i admit that the popularity will go up...but that won't be enough to push his cards to jump in bv....trust me on this one..if you were to "invest" in quantrill or any other player that join the yankees...the best time to sell is right when they get traded NOT as an investment in the hopes that the bv will go up...that's ridiculous.

hes trying to say that they will go for more not go up in beckett vaule is what he ment. As you see the Quantrill is now going for more than twice of what its worth.

yea now that i read it again, it wasn't worked clearly....i thought he meant it would double bv as in double the value in beckett. thanks to dnautos now i isee he meant that one could sell it for more than twice the bv.

gotcha....but my point still proves right...mussina and raul mondesi never jumped in value in terms of people buying it online. it's all good though.

Now all Yankee fans are selling their Nick Johnson and Juan Rivera cards, so they can buy Sheffield, Vazquez, Quantrill, and Gordon cards. lol!
