really it only 2cents ..... gas goes up 5 and 10cents constantly. All I know, is I can go to Hawaii or Florida or California (I'm in PA) for 41cents per letter. Can't drive there that cheap.

I'm not sticking up for the raise ....but 2cents isn't much, since most everyone tosses pennies away. I pick these up...will go for extra postage

I dont think 2 cents is much unless you do spend alot on postage, then it will add up some...Thanks Ed
I only trade by Beckett price guide, not eBay comp or SV, TV..I also do not collect any Panini or Donruss Baseball products..

So, this is just an increase in stamp prices correct? Not 2 cents across the board. If so, it shouldn't affect anything, unless you ship in white envelopes.

Well, during the last change, a single card in a bubble mailer went from $.49 to $.52... so, probably ANOTHER three cents. This stuff adds up.

I kept all my USPS receipts from 2005... well over $300. Includes shipping and the cost of money orders (not the amounts, just the $.90 or whatever MOs cost).

I wouldn't be suprised if the other services will go up more than 2 cents. 52 cents for 1 card in a buble envelope? Mine cost .63 cents

They were actually talking about decreasing the cost on packages while increasing the cost of a standard white envelope.

But folks sending heavier letters — such as wedding invitations — will see a reduction in the price.
That’s because the 41-cent rate is for the first ounce, but each additional ounce will cost just 17 cents, down from the current 24 cents.
That means a two-ounce letter will cost 58 cents to mail, compared with 63 cents now.
