I think it would be a steal and would allow them to draft a non-QB skill position.

good pickup if they did, maybe the coach could make him play like he did at Fresno State that made him the #1 Pick

ive been saying this for a while now...if oakland doesnt add Carr and then draft Calvin and give Carr Moss and Calvin to throw too...they are dumb...both russell and quinn have flaws...calvin is the sure #1....

I couldnt imagine being a d trying to cover both Moss and Calvin

I would love to see Carr go to Oakland, or wherever, and make the playoffs, and show his old team the Texans, How S****Y thier team really was for him to play for, you can only play as good as the players around you, one person is not going to take a team to the playoff's, superbowl, etc..

Well, Oakland is known as the island of misfit toys....he'd be a good fit with...well i'd say the scheme of things out there but does anyone know what exactly the scheme is other than Al Davis?

Even if Sean's scenario is true, the Raiders still need more than a QB and rookie receiver. Even with Carr and Calvin they will probably not make the play-offs.

I think he would be a great fit as he knows how to take a sack. He can throw and he not going to be threatened or mad at a O line who cannot block as he had that his whole life. Would love to see him blossom in black and white and for them not to even give him a shot would be a waste. As we know he can throw as Johson was utilized as a good weapon last year. Better than what they brought in last year with Brooks.

The Raiders are going to be using a run prevalent west-coast hybrid offense and are switching to a zone cut blocking scheme much like what you've seen the Falcons and Broncos running.
