It's been a bad week for the English language. Especially in Tennessee.
On Friday, cornerback Pacman Jones referred to himself as a guy who "hadn't been charged with nothing." (Technically, his double-negative was correct.)
On Monday, the agent for quarterback Vince Young addressed the superstition that the person who appears on the cover of the Madden video game franchise might have his season cursed.
"We don't believe in no jinx," said Major Adams, according to the Nashville Tennessean.
Now we know how Young got a six on the Wonderlic. (Actually, it was a seven.) It's not that Adams didn't get Young prepared for the exam -- it's that Adams apparently prepared Young for the test personally.
