Frog Dissection
Yesterday in Zoology we started dissecting a frog and finished today...so gross! :thumbsdown:
I'm so glad we got to work with a partner...I made Shayne do most of the work. 
We were suppose to remove the skin to learn the muscles but for Valentines Day my teacher gave everyone a thing that we could turn in for a 100 in place of a quiz....so I used mine today! I really didnt want to learn them all...but then I had to learn the internal organs, which wasnt so bad...because it's basically the same as us. lol
Now Friday is biology we're startin on a CAT!
I definately cant do that one! How horrible would it be to dissect a cat and when you recieve your's you find out it was your pet?! That probably wouldnt happen but...lol.

I remember when they made us dissect pigs, then threw them in the incinerator at school when we were done I always wondered why the school smelled like a pig roast on the 4th of July :)

Hate the smell of the animals when dissecting them as I just got done disecting the cat in college anatomy. Only thing worse than disecting a cat................................having to open him up 3 more times throughout the next full semester. Last time you open it up, looks like, well..........um I wont say but lets just say it isnt pretty if you dont get some good preserves on it. Pretty mushy!

did the whole frog/cat/pig deal in high school...got to stand up in front of seniors and teach for a while when we did fish, and i was a lowly freshman

Never did a car but did the WORM, FROG, and of course the PIG. Of course any of those creatures could be a pet LoL.

We had to do a worm also...I'm TERRIFIED of them though so I didnt have to do it.
And then we did a grasshopper.

This is the first time I've heard of a cat being dissected...that's just wrong, lol eewwww. I was a freshman in h.s. when I dissected a frog. There were 3 students to one frog. My job was to take the eggs out, lol Just too gross!

We had to disect a worm, frog, grasshopper, fish, and a shark.

A shark???? What high school did you go to???
We only did a frog and a pig! But when I went to school drivers education was a class you could take. Remember "RED ASPHALT"? LOL
