    Any golfers?

Just was wandering if anyone here plays golf. Just went last Thursday and played. First time this year. Sure glad it rained after 13 holes. Anyone else play?

Well, you can't live in Hawaii and not golf. I am far from good, but have played about 20 rounds of gold over the past 5 years. I bought a used set of King Cobras from a sailor that was heading out on a 1 year deployment to the Middle East and that started my limited play. What did you shoot?

Play gold that must be a joke. I did 9 holes once and I quit counting after I went over a 100. Driving range is fun to me of course sometimes the SLICE and HOOK can be deadly as very few balls go straight. LOL

Used to play all the time when my son was on the H.S. golf team. He went off to Tulane and I lost my playing partner so haven't played in several years. By the time I quit I was shooting in the 80's Funny thing, our town has about 80,000 people and we had six golf courses at one time. Down to 5 now. Still, I think that's a lot of courses for such a small town.

I don't think that is a bad ratio. As I live in Lexington I would guess 200,000 perhaps not with outlying area (surrounding counties) etc. As for golf courses around here I would say there would be several dozen as it unbelievable as golf is crazy down here. There are may driving ranges, par 3 hole courses, and many non par 18 courses.

Played again today. Shot a 90. Could have been alot better. At least I am knocking the winter rust off. 48 on the front 42 on the back.
