Michael Vick Cards taking a beating!

I was searching Ebay and was curious to see if Michael Vick cards were taking a beating due to his Dog Fighting Scandal. I first looked for the holy grail of Vick cards, the 2001 SP Authentic Patch. I couldn't find a single one up for auction! I think people are too scared to sell it since it has always been listed around $1,500. The card was marked down 15% from $199 to to $169.99. It sold from a best offer of $116 and books at $300! Talk about unloading!

I have a feeling many will take a gamble and try to buy Vick cards are cheap prices compared to just a few months ago. My suggest is to avoid Michael Vick cards for the rest of 2007 as Michael Vick cards have a long way to go down in my opinion!

He was one of those players that was hyped and has been an overrated just short of a bust QB. On the other hand, every analyst marked LaDainian Tomlinson as a bust in the waiting.... look at him now! LT's stuff should overtake Vick within this season as the #1 2001 rookie in terms of talent and card book value.

Vick is not the most dynamic exciting player to watch, LT is and he has better character than Vick will ever have and dream of for that matter.
