Looking over some of the member names that are being chosen, I thought it would be interesting if some of you with the not-so-obvious names shared the story or reason for your name.

Anyone willing to share the reasons?

Sure, why not! We have actually had some posts like this in the racing forums before and it gets pretty interesting to hear how some members come up with the ID's they use.

Mine is extremely simple... Lesracing = My name Les, what I love, racing

I only collect racing cards and stuff so it just made sense to make my ID what it is, short and to the point. I use the same ID on all sites except for Yahoo, only because it was not available :poundcry: On yahoo I am les_racing

Honestly, I don't know why I have the name I do...I can't stand Jerry Nadeau or Jimmie Johnson.

No, seriously though....it's real simple....I'm a huge Nadeau and Johnson fan.

Mine was a nickname given to me at a place I used to work at. You see I only have one foot and my foreman started calling me sklippy because I would trip over my good leg, also when I run it is more of skipping then running.

Mine is simple. Ashley is my name, 83 is Brian Vickers' car number, and 18 is JJ Yeley's car number.
