    most spent on a card?

A while ago, Ashley paid $72 for one card on ebay. So that made me start thinking, what's the most you've ever spent on one card?

I usually dont buy single cards as I would rather spend the money on a few packs or just put all my money together and grab a box of something that I collect..

The last time I did get a card was two or so years ago and the only reason I got it was because it was a rookie autograph that is graded 9.5 and the player used to play for the AA minor league team that plays in the city I just moved from..

I was never really one to buy just single cards as I would rather buy cards in lots of the teams I collect...Thanks Ed
I only trade by Beckett price guide, not eBay comp or SV, TV..I also do not collect any Panini or Donruss Baseball products..

Like Shayne said, I spent $72 on one. I was way worth it though. I've been wantin the Tradin Paint Auto for a while and I just couldnt let it get away from me. Its my favorite in the collection!

I think $102 with shipping for an Arod autograph #ed/13. I don't remember what the most expensive racing card is that I've bought...I'm guessing somewhere between $50-$70. I don't have any real rare autos/race used of Stewart yet #ed/ less than 50 that I've bought.

Mine is going to look like nothing compared to the ones above, but the most I have spent for one card is about $40-$45.

$175 dollars for a Mario game used auto graph out of 10. My wife about shot me when I handed the guy that much dough for what she likes to refer it as CARDBOARD.
