Well I believe that fair... But not the Falcons if he gets on with another team fine! But he lied to the man who protected him all these years! Give him the boot! But if he serves his time then the justice system served its purpose to some extent...unless he spends a month in prison and the rest of the time under house arrest thats not justice especially since the Feds have such a strong case againest him. Hopefully the locals will also take their shots at him!!!

Why shouldn't he sean. I mean if he serves his time he paid his due. Let me throw this out to you and we are talking big time dollars here. This guy was a coach and did 1.7 millions in gambling (ring). He received the Lindsay Lohan treatment (PROBATION):
So Much for Rick Tocchet's Coaching Career
To me that only adds fuel to the fire with the race card.
p.s. I truly do not believe this has anything to do with the dogs as the gov't truly could care less about animal cruelty. To me it more about the REICO laws or however you spell that. All the dough he had crossing borders (state lines) etc. Moneytrafficking etc. To me that why the gov't went after him of course Rick Tocchet did the same thing for a tune of 2 million and I bet Vicks was less than that of course he looking at serious jail time and not even faced the possible animal stuff by State Agencies. He is guilty but others have slipped out of the noose. So if he serves his time while should he not be welcomed back by whoever would want him to play.

I havent read too much about Vick over the last few days. I think it depends on how long he has to actually serve. If he should catch on with another team in 2010 (lets say),he'll obviously be rusty ,slower. he'll be battling PETA, THE SPCA- He'll have so many issues to battle through to get to play & he'll probably have to play for the near minimum salary. just to get back in a league.most likely CFL. & if he should win there his return to the nfl.
will be softened. but again he'll be slower & the defensive class of 2010 will be faster.

Leo- i read something he wont even be allowed to play in the CFL because to do this he would have to cross into canada and with these charges on his record its unlikely he would be permitted.
Don- short and simple, if you or i were to go to jail for 12-18 months...would we have a job when we got out? no
