Well this is the first year I kept two players from last year but since I always try new theories every year and never stick to the same pattern over and over except have a stable of good backs. LOL

Rules:
110 million salary cap
can keep 2 players etc.

SO I kept Steven Jackson and Frank Gore and needless to say it ate my Cap to a tune of 72 million for the two out of 110. Leftover cap space of 38 OUCH!!!

The good and bad was my draft position was 11 so there is no way I would have gotten either Running Back if I had turned them both back into the pot. So with the 11th pick out of 12 teams (snake) this is what I ended up with. Remember there were good players but I could not afford many as the Wide Receivers that were left would have cost me 20 or so million and that would have left me with NADA and I like to draft a full 18 man roster.

4) Reggie Brown 5 million
5) Lavernus Coles 4 million
6) Chester Taylor 4 million

9) Shayne Graham 1 million (4 other kickers had gone so I grabbed one
as I didn't get a premiere tight end or D).

12) Brandon Marhsall 2 million
13) Philadelphia Def 3 million
14) Mike Furrey 3 million
15) Brian Leonard 1 million (had to handcuff Jackson able replacement)

18) Chris Henry 1 million (If I can make the playoffs I figured this move
for a WR for 8 games might pay off (Playoff)!


Looking forward to seeing how anybody else did and I love Salary Cap as it does not allow you too just take the best player available and makes you think on your strategy as I spent over 84 million on RB's. Needless to say that roughly 80 percent of my payroll (66 percent in the first two). I hope they stay healthy.
