Greg Oden OUT FOR THE SEASON!
Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden, the No. 1 pick in the 2007 NBA draft, will miss the 2007-08 season after undergoing microfracture surgery Thursday, two league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Oden, a 7-footer from Ohio State, was found to have torn cartilage during exploratory surgery on his right knee and was operated on by team doctor Don Roberts in Vancouver, Wash. Most microfracture surgeries require eight months to a year for recovery.

Well I thought he would be having health problems as when you look at the Big Guys how many have truly been durable for a Decade. I can think of a few but I can think of many more guys like Bowie, Walton, etc. that didn't keep the injury bug away for good.
p.s. Definitely not good for people that spent all the money on his cards but makes it enticing to jump in if they drop. LOL Oh the speculators out there!!

That`s sounds like something that would happen to the Celtics! Len Bias, Reggie Lewis. I was really hoping the Celts would get him but now I`m glad they didn`t. This could be the only injury of his career but who knows. I`m happy they got KG but it really sucked they had to give up the team for him!
