    Fantasy Trade Question

    Team A gets:

    Carson Palmer
    Lav Coles
    Mark Clayton
    Eric Johnson
    Eddie Kennison

    Team B gets:

    Tony Romo
    Chris Chambers
    Dominic Rhodes
    Mike Furrey

Johnson and Kennison are throw ins to help team B get an added pickup.

    Who makes out better?

Team "B" by far makes out better! IMO... (For what it's worth)

So it's basically Romo and Chambers for Coles and Palmer....and personally, I'd rather have Coles and Palmer. Just b/c Romo will cool off eventually, and Trent Green can't really get the ball to Chambers on a consistent basis. Coles has put up good numbers so far this year, and Palmer is right behind Romo in fantasy as it is.

So I say team A makes out better, in the long run.

well im Team A...and I took it...

my thoughts is this Romo has had 2 amazing weeks of the 3 weeks. I took him very late...Palmer is Palmer, he is the 2nd best QB and will always be consistent.

I basically threw out Rhodes/Furrey for Johnson/Kennison bc neither hopefully ever have to start for me. Rhodes is a potential maybe down the road...but Jordan has been doing so well, so I just threw the 2 out.

Figure Palmer/Romo is a wash...or if anything leans Palmer

Then figure Coles and Chambers...id give the edge to Coles

Then I get Mark Clayton whose been injured so far this season on the side, who last year showed some promise.

I agree Palmer is a better qb but I think you underestimate ROMO as of now. As you will have to change that to 3 amazing weeks out of 4 and I think he has some more to come. Barber actually running the ball better than Johnson which opens up the passing game and with T.O., Witten, they have able receivers to do the job.

So I feel the deal is pretty good either way. As far a COLES vs. CHAMBERS I think COLE gets the nod easily as he has a better qb and is definitely a more reliable option week in week out. SO A is the better choice but you might be surprised as ROMO might have better numbers than PALMER when all is said and done. Bledsoe surprised people that one year like 2 years ago. So perhaps ROMO will do that again and be a TOP 5 QB.

I'd take it as team B did very well! Romo has enough talent around him to keep running at an elite QB pace, just like Palmer. After you eliminate those 2 its a no brainer for B! Coles and three waiver wire caliber players for Chambers - a starter for most teams, Furrey who might become the most productive player in the trade is Johnson keeps having injury issues, and Rhodes who might be splitting carries in Oakland depending on how bad Lamont is banged up! Most likely each team has gotten two starters and team B at worst has quality Bi week replacements with the throw ins and that can not be said for team A.

It's a toss up for me as both qb's score well in fantasy. None of the other players are high impact although coles is doing better than chambers right now.
