Willing to admit when Im wrong
No, this isnt about the eagles, although I have been wrong with them...but onto the point of this...the New England Patriots...
Randy Moss in New England is perfect...while I said it wouldnt be and I felt it would tear that team apart...it is the perfect compliment to Brady and Bellicheks whole package. Moss is a me-me guy, he gets the glory in New England but doesnt have the responsibility he had in Minn or Oak of being THE GUY. Brady is the guy and handles that well, Moss can be in the background and make the big plays when they are there, he can also sub in and out when the plays arent directed towards him because New England has other players to fill in...it is the perfect connection. They have cruised through September...and I have been so far from wrong from thinking how this package would work its sick that the best team in football could add that talent of a player for a 4th round pick.
They will win the Super Bowl this year, and they will have a top 15/20 pick in the 1st round as well, losing there 31st pick will not hurt them at all...and we can start preparing to name 2000-2010 the Patriots Decade of Dominance...because until Brady and Moss and Bellichek all break up...they wont be stopped...
Congrats Pats fans, I just wish my team would spend the money and do the things the same way...ultimatly when it comes to roster moves, and being aggresive often times the Patriots and Eagles are very similar in the way they do things...the bottom line is...the patriots do whatever it takes to win, and the eagles do the least they can to win...thats more then a good 50% of the NFL...but not good enough when ya wanna win Super Bowls...plural...more then one...This core of, Brady/Bruschi/Vrabel/Harrison/Bellichek will go down in the history of the NFL as the greatest of all time...and thats speaking currently...thats not counting the fact that they will continue to win for another 5 years+.

I knew he would explode as I stole him in two of my fantasy leagues.
I was begging and pleading for the Chargers to get him!

Sean's right....they should crush every team they play this year....except when the Browns beat them this weekend at Foxboro.

Moss keeps his mouth shut as long as he gets the ball thrown to him.

Well said Sean. I think that's why a lot of fans hate the Patriots organization. They do everything right. They let the high-priced talent go and immediately fill that position with someone who's cheaper and does the job at the same level. They're even good about bringing in some older players and showing that they can still perform past 30 (see Junior Seau, Troy Brown).
The leadership that Brady, Belichick, Bruschi, Light and others forces the other players to mold into the 'Patriots model' and it makes the system work. When you have that kind of cast around, it's hard for one player to break it (T.O.).
I think many fans need to stop 'hating' the Patriots and simply petition their own teams to follow the Patriots' example. If it works so well for New England, then it should work for your own team, right?

I am not a Pats fan by any means but will admit they have a great team, with them adding Randy Moss it just made them better than they were..I think the Pats Cowboys game coming up in a couple weeks will be a good game , although being a Cowboys fan I will be cheering for the Boys..
Brady and Moss are turning out to be a pretty lethal combination but so is Romo and T.O..Thanks EdI only trade by Beckett price guide, not eBay comp or SV, TV..I also do not collect any Panini or Donruss Baseball products..

Sean,
Good post now I am just waiting for ya to say the Chargers made the wrong move by firing Marty LOL. If the Chargers do anymore damage to the L column it not going to be pretty and I don't think anyone could have said then that Marty should have been fired. I know it all about the SUPER BOWL but ya have to make the playoffs to have a chance.
