Does anyone use the USPS Priority boxes inside out for first class mail ?
I need a box and all I have is the USPS Priority boxes. I was wondering if it is okay to flip the Priority boxes inside out and using them to mail first class stuff ? Has anyone done this ? I don't want to get in trouble for abusing the priority boxes. Let me know. Thanks.

I dont see why not. Its not like they're gonna open the box and look at the inside of it, RIGHT? at least, I hope not.

I have before. My local P.O got me in like 10 boxes(oops..bundled 25 pieces per) I "Only" took 3 or 4.
sans the new unused part ;)
It's no different than reusing a box via first class, that was sent to you priority.

Just a suggestion you can always get plain brown paper which I do as a lot of time I recycle the PRIORITY BOXES that are sent my way. Just use ole plain brown packaging paper as it cheap and covers a ton of boxes.
P.S. Also by turning the box inside out wouldn't you compromise the integrity of the box where the perforations are. Just asking as I never done that or truly thought of that. Let us know how it goes.

I've done that plenty of times. The only thing now is that the PO do not condone this practice and actually you can get into trouble for it if caught. They have even started to print on the inside of the boxes to prevent people from doing so. I know I used to use the labels and just cut the top off of the label where it said priority. Now they print a watermark across them.

I have done it a few times. My wife had gotten quite a bit of them for her business so I don't have to worry about the printing on the inside. They work very well.
