BC jumps to #2!
Is this the year of New England in sports or what? Red Sox make the Worlds Series, New England is the favorite to win the Super Bowl, The Celtics have a great team this year and BC just jumped to #2!

BC has a really tough game coming up though vs Virginia Tech, so their position at No 2 may not last long.
Also, I don't know if I agree with your comment about the Celtics having a great team. They have traded away alot of younger talent to get two aging stars, Garnett and Allen. Besides those two players, and Paul Pierce, they really do not have much. They will probably make the playoffs because the east is so incredibly weak, but I can't imagine them getting past teams like Detroit and Miami.
As far as the Red Sox go though, they might as well just give them the championship trophy right now because they will likely sweep the Rockies.

#2 has lost two weeks in a row (S. Florida and Cal previous to that) so maybe the trend continues. Certainly this is BC's toughest game of the season.

It's only fitting...BC really should have lost last week...but VT decided to forget to play defense in the last 2 minutes...
BC does not match up well against speedy defenses and it has shown the last two weeks...
