A potentially stupid question......
Hey everyone,
I bought a blaster box of 2007 Upper Deck and got a Michael Vick base card. Weren't these supposed to be pulled?
Please let me know if you have any information.

no such thing as a stupid question...just stupid people who ask them...i mean
yes i thought they were to be pulled too...maybe you can sell it for big bucks...or feed it to your dog then sell it for big bucks...

Steve did you check Ebay yet? I believe they were supposed to be pulled so maybe it got leaked? I know the Chrome Vicks that snuck out brought big $$!

Yea they weren't suppose to go out. Maybe ask customer service at UD for a final answer!

These dont seem to be bringing in anywhere near as much as the chromes were. Im guessing more were leaked than chrome

Just found this from the actual July 27, 2007 press release from UD management:
"...a decision was made this week after working with the NFL to remove him from future sets beginning with Ultimate Collection Football set to release this October."
So I think they're going out w/regular UD as normal.
That being said, shortly after they announced he would not be included in sets, I pulled his card from UD 1st Edition. Thinking it was something special, I put it on eBay and made $9 and change before shipping costs ($2 I think). And recently, I got a box of regular UD and pulled a Vick again. I was like you thinking it was something awesome so I put it on eBay again and it sold for $2.25 w/$2.50 S&H. I was wondering why it sold so much lower than the lower end 1st Edition. That's when I found the article from UD stating it starts w/Ultimate. But apparently there are still some people out there thinking it shouldn't be there and are buying them on eBay, just not as many as before.
