How do you figure?
He dropped the ball with the Patriots cheating scandal
He didnt react well to the Vick scandal at all
He suspended Pacman Jones for a season for accusations he has yet to be tried for.
He is messing with the ProBowl and ruining that
The idea of the Super Bowl in another country is a joke
The changes to the draft are not liked
Sorry to go off on this with you but your the 1st and only one who seems to support him at all he has done nothing "great" at all.

I don't know about you, but I plan to still be around and a fan of the NFL in 2013. And I don't want to see it another country.
Truthfully I don't think a SuperBowl out of country will happen. The rest of the world would have to show considerable interest in the NFL, and we've seen through past failures that they're not interested.
But (IMO), for Goodell to even consider this option is absurd.
I'm not saying Goodell is a bad commish. I love what he's doing to clean up the NFL's image. I even like the new draft process revisions. I just think that he's WAY off base with his SuperBowl and ProBowl ideas.

I think Goodell is doing fine so far..
I don't really like the idea of moving the pro bowl up but can see why he suggested it.. Ratings are very poor for the game and have been on the slide for years, the first round of the draft probably has more viewers. It is becoming increasingly common for veterans that make the pro bowl not to play due to injuries that wouldn't have kept them out of any other game. His hope is that by moving the time and location they could take advantage of the increased attention on football that week to revive interest a game that otherwise may be done away with. Even if I did like the idea I don't think it would work out.. The super bowl has become a 2 week event, having the pro bowl at the same location would get in the way and if you have it somewhere else it will be ignored as much or more than it is now.
I don't think he really wants to have the super bowl overseas or actually would. I think he suggested it sort of as a way to send a message to the owners. The game has gotten so big that it isn't feasable to have it in most NFL cities, London was mentioned as a possibility because it could accommodate it.. If owners would shell out some of there millions for stadium improvements it could give the league more options for locations. The game has really outgrown alot of NFL cities, and some that it hasn't have other problems, anywhere in California would require the league and tv stations to bring in generators like they did in San Diego in 2003 to have enough power for everything..
