Just for your information I will ultimately attempt to move this piece (assuming it's a genuine piece), therefore in the long run I believe I will have to acquire a certificate of authenitcity. I just want to make sure before I drop serious coin to have this done.

And of course I would do something nice for you if we can gather some info on it.

If any of this is stuff you already know, forgive me.

The dates listed on the back are accurate. In that bible, every 7 pages or so had the big colored picture, so that is good for what yours has. Your page comes from the book of macabees which is in the apocrypha (extra books) that were only included in some bibles, more currently in Catholic Bibles. I am going to make 1 phone call on monday to get a better idea of the authenticity of yours but I feel pretty sure it is.

I tried googling what's on the back description, but I didn't get anywhere.

I also took some measurements just in case it'll help us.

One other thing is, it appears there are red-ish lines (could be a faded black/brown) under some of the words/sentences.
