Trading Kobe......
Hey guys,
As soon as I get off work i always go home and flip on the tv to play Halo 3 like every other day. B4 I play I ALWAYS take a glance at espn. And I heard once agian that the lakers are still talking with the bulls on trading him by Tuesday. Phil Jackson said himself he wasnt playing like "kobe" normally plays and I would just like to know everyones point of view about this actually happening. im not a DIE HARD kobe fan but I can say that he is a terrific player even tho some say he is a hog ball. But I look at it this way.. Why pass the ball to someone when you know the odds are better than you shooting a FADE AWAY to their jumper is a more high % shot ( exageration ). But maybe you get where im going? I honestly dont expect the trade to go through but if it happens It would be kinda cool.. Get kobe in the east, not only that playing on jordans turf... HA! Would be sweet if KOBE could bring the bulls back to finals ( and win ) Anyways thanks and would like to hear input from others..

Im not sure if he will get traded during this season IMO.
He has that no trade clause and most likely he would head to Chicago IF he gets traded, because Chicago has enough young players to make the stupid Lakers owner (who wont trade Andrew Bynum for Jason Kidd) happy....they got gordon, sefolosha, t.thomas, j.noah etc...
but as with the case of Iverson and KG, it takes a while for a superstar to get traded....
But kobe is a special case bc he has a option to opt out in two years, so something might happen....
But again, its not even 50-50 right now IMO but more like 20-80...
Lakers will make a trade with Kwame Brown before the deadline bc some teams would love to take him and his expiring 9 mil contract.
So this trade might improve the team and it might make kobe happy...who knows...
so much things going on around right now

i agree.. Kobe's problem right now is " he dont have no1 to play with " If they due trade him to chicago for " all " of those young players. IMO he will be in the same boat he is now.. I do belive if Kidd wulda came to LA they would be in muuuuuuuuuuch better shape right now. I wished that would happened . I guess you could say i do like kobe alot. I just wished he had some help on the team so he wuldnt have to throw up 30-40 shots a nite.. Who knows what the future holds.. thanks for the replies

The lakers are smart for not trading him right now...Trading him to the bulls will do what give u who ben gordon and deng who both will want big money next season. I think the lakers should just keep kobe and trade odom. Trading Bynum would just be stupid. Yes kidd will make this team better but Bynum is 20 one of the futre centers in the league will be a top 5 soon. He has alot of potential.

Exactly my line of thinking. They got rid of Shaq because Kobe wanted to. No he can't win because he needs someone. He is a good player but a bad teammate. He is doing all this for his personal gain and not for the game/team.
