That's what I thought was funny. He doesn't lie in his description (omitting the year isn't technically lying, is it?), and he does provide a scan. That's all the bidder had to do was take a look.
Makes me think of PT Barnum's "There's a sucker born every minute" gem.

That is classic. I've made that mistake when looking up fantasy football information but it is easy to figure out in that situation. Honestly it took me about 20 seconds to find the problem and I was looking for it.

i did this on an auction of 2 cards from the same seller(not this seller) but he didn't change all of the header so i thought i was getting 2 different auto's, one reg, and a sp. turned out the sp was NOt an auto just an sp, but the heading said auto.when i received them i was ticked, i paid more for the sp then the actual auto.
