IPOD question...
have a question for anyone who uses an IPOD... can you load any songs from your computer onto them or only songs from ITUNES... just wondered because i have been thinking about joining the other 90 percent of the population that has them but only if you can use other songs from your computer

Well, you have to use iTunes for your iPod, however you can just add songs already on your computer right to your iTunes. So you won't have to pay a buck per song, unless you really want to.

Why do people post stuff like that when they clearly don't know what they are talking about?? Why would I lie?? Like I said, no need for Itunes, I've never used it. I have a program that you can use to transfer songs to the ipod, it's very simple. PM me when you get your Ipod.

Why do people get so upset when someone contributes a different way of doing things than one already suggested?
I personally use Itunes, but like has been said, you don't have to pay for any of the songs. If they're already on your computer (or if you have them on a CD), then you can just import them to Itunes. Itunes is a FREE download, and it's very simple to use, so I would recommend using it if you decide to get an Ipod.
Are there other ways of adding songs to your Ipod? Apparently there are ...but I don't know of any. Itunes is the way it was meant to be done, so that's how I do it.
Just my two cents.

Maybe because he said this:
Well, you have to use iTunes for your iPod,
That is not another suggestion, he clearly stated that you have to use itunes. So I think I was OK in asking why he would say such a thing if he didn't know what he was actually talking about.
Yes itunes is obviously an option...Ipod/itunes, I think that is obvious. I just have software that is simply a nice tool, easy to use, and works great. I didn't get upset, just was curious. I Didn't mean to step on any toes, just trying to help!!
