Buying base, gu, autos

I can't believe how cheap bulk buy prices are but I guess they are for some the only way to get rid of cards..I personally just unloaded 1500 cards to Servingfortheking as I had no other way to move them and the value really doesn’t matter if they just sit in the closet taking up space. . So I am looking to buy some players and I am willing to pay a bit more than the bulk buyers prices on the base stuff because I am not looking for as many different players. Here are the things I am looking to buy


Now don’t get offended, I know some of these buy prices are cheap. But I have sold stuff this cheap and see others asking to buy it this cheap or cheaper. The value of something is what you can get them to pay for it.
For better stuff I can pay more, hopefully you will have a variety of stuff for me to buy where as you might take a little less on something good but it works out cause you get rid of some junk you couldn't otherwise move. Helps us both.

I think its funny all these people always trying to sell stuff but whe you ask to buy they have nothing. I understand there are book values, but sell value is what someone is willing to pay. If 10 gu dont even sell on ebay for 1.00, you cant expect people will pay 3.00 for them here. The nature of the hobby has changed. people generally dont want base or even cheap inserts, boxes cost way more than the value you will ever get out of them, and if its not a 100 auto people dont seem interested.

Well I personally dont need any 6 dollar bazooka gu cards of guys no longer in the league. A lot of junk is just junk but I will take some if its in a decent lot.

yeah, I think it's the fact that now that someone wants their stuff, some then wonder why anyone would want it and decides to keep it. It's an interesting process. Just keep posting and you'll find people willing to move you some stuff.

it is hard to move base cards. I actually sold off 1500 just last week to Servingfortheking. Saw his post before yours so I wouldnt have enough to send you to make it worth it. I would send you all my McNairs and Penningtons even at 1 cent but the postage defeats the purpose unless there are enough cards.

I am looking for guys I collect, not buying base cards to resell for a profit as I would think this is becoming harder and harder to do. Just the time alone would be to tedious for me.
