Adrian Peterson & eBay...what a record day can do for your cards!
So about an hour ago when Adrian Peterson decides to run for his 3rd TD of the day, untouched, against a supposedly really solid San Diego Defense, I thought to myself what his cards would be doing on eBay....
I log in, and I watched his 2007 topps RC with a starting bid of 5.99 & a buy it now price of $9.99....with no bids on it! Finally somebody bids $5.99 eliminating the buy it now option...
About 15 minutes later, Peterson breaks the all-time single game rushing record in only his 8TH PRO GAME!!!
15 minutes after that, that same Topps rookie that had a buy it now of $9.99 ends with a high bid of $31.99....$31.99....$31.99
This is regular TOPPS....lol
Another item I seen was a 07 Topps Chrome X-Fractor & a 07 playoff absolute jersey card with a buy it now of $80...I think whoever bought that saw the trend & decided not to take any chances....that lot is off the market now!
I'm also watching 2 of his regular 07 Topps Chrome rookies that had high bids of around $5-$7 when I first logged in....They both end in the next half hour & the bidding is currently at $26 & $26.99 respectively...I'm assuming those will prolly come close to doubling...

Yeah i was one that was searching through ebay store for a Topps Chrome or a Finest. I was lucky and got a Topps Chrome for $19.99 BIN and $2.50 shipping!

Yeah that's ridiculous...I saw someone on here buy a Bowman RC for $10...it's going to be worth $10 or so when the BV comes out, so the guy basically paid 100% BV. People are going to feel pretty dumb when the BVs don't go up 200% like they're expecting and they've wasted a bunch of money. Just like the guy that bought a base Upper Deck 1st Edition Vick from me for $9 + S&H just b/c UD said they were going to ban his cards...oh well. Congrats to the people who can capitalize off these idiots!

I had 2 Finest Rc's on Maxcom for $16 each. Someone bought them before I could change the price. Oh well, happy to get the $16 for a Finest Rc.

I remember passing up a jsy/auto of him for $60. Im an idiot. lol
oh well...at least he's on my fantasy team. He got 475 points. woooo!
