I was glad to see that happen and backfire on Gibbs. I don't like when they call the timeout like he did the first time. I know it's totally within the rules, but it seems bush-league. It was nice to see them screw up with the second time out and make the 51-yarder only 36 yards.

great point daniel sweeney odds are he wouldn,t have come close on the 51 yarder in those conditions 15 yards in that situation was huge.take care steve

Serves him right for using a exploit in the game. I cant wait for them to change that rule next year.

i didnt see the game....
was he just trying to freeze the kicker twice? or was the 2nd timeout because he didnt have the right guys on the field and just wasn't thinking???
im not gonna knock Joe Gibbs, he's a hell of a guy and true hall of famer...but pretty sad way for them to lose on Taylor day...

it was craziness for sure. I didnt even think you were ALLOWED to call a second time out. In other words, after the first one I thought they would just ignore another request and not grant the timeout. I had no idea that it would be granted and then penalized.

they were saying on the radio that Gibbs asked the side judge if he was allowed to call another time-out and the ref said yeah...then he threw the flag on his advice, lol.
