i also have a complete set bought back around 1991. for years the value stayed around 2100, but recently took a huge decrease in book value. i think its around 1000 now. the bad thing is outside of the jordan, the other RCs in the set (drexler, barkley, olajuwon, malone, ewing, thomas , etc..) have all dropped to rediculously low values in my opinion. i would not look for the set to go up at least not dramatically but i dont see it dropping much farther than it is now either, so i wouldnt be in a hurry to sell it thinking you will lose out.

if it were me, i would decide if i were to keep collecting basketball , in which case i would keep it as it is still a rare find for most people, or you could get some nice autographs and patches etc... for it if you wanted to go that route in your collection. i might even be interested in a second set if you trade it.

    hope that helps. good luck.

Keep them if you can. If you need the money then sell. It's a nice set. If the cards are in great shape get the better ones graded (personally not a fan of grading) That will help you get a better resale value. Good Luck.
