    What i understood about the Buying of Pride by UFC/Zuffa was that it was going to be a "Minor League" type fighting league...Basically you work your way up through PRIDE to UFC...but in October they Closed the Japanese Office and layed off the last 20 people.
    Plus the few things i have read refer to pride in the Past tense.

    I loved watching the Diversity in PRIDE...where else can you see Butterbean, a Giant 6'7' Brazillian and various other Non traditional Looking MMA fighters.

    Also Fedor went to a League called M-1

    Also, the WEC is a part of pride. The WEC is like the minor leagues.
