Rookie Autos, how to get them?

How do you guys get your high end Rookie Autos? All the packs I open I never get any game-used cards or Autos. Am I buying the wrong ones?

With most of the people? they buy boxes. Many boxes. Higher-end boxes, in many cases. :)

These guys that are cracking the $150-200 boxes, generally :)

you need to make sure you buy hobby boxes, retail doesn't have the same hit rate.

buy your autos, don't bust wax... look for good "trade bait" or deals ... You'll be way happier that way... wax is like crak cocaine

I'm hoping for some luck with the pack sales I just did on Ebay.

3 Packs of 2004 SP Authentic, 27 packs of 2007 SP Authentic, 1 pack 2006 Sweet Spot (all the above was baseball), 2 packs 2007 Topps Chrome Football, 1 pack 2006 Topps Chrome Football for about $55-60 after shipping.

You know what I hate/ love.. when it's like 2 in the morning and everything is closed and you just have to bust some wax. Even if that means driving to walmart and overpaying for crappy retial.. Then not pulling nothing, not even an insert.

I will tell you what is even worse is when you go to hobby shop and buy something like LCM ( 10 packs 4 hits per box) and you go pack by pack thinking you will hit something then 4 packs in ( $40 ish) you have hit nothing. You can't just leave 4 hits out of 6packs just sitting there.

Good rant.. thanks for listening. I am just mad about my lions today.
