i promise they were hobby, 24 packs to a box

my local shop said the boxes were in the way and he wanted to move them.

so i bought them both and cracked them disapointed i didnt get an auto

Hmmm sounds a little fishy. What hobby shop would think that the Product of the Year was "getting in the way"? You'd figure those things would sell out in a heartbeat. Why not put them up on ebay and get your $100 a pop that you deserve for them. Plus, they sell them for 1/3 the original price to you. Well, at least you picked them up when offered to you.

Speaking of getting ripped off, I'd say you did because you're supposed to get an average of 2 hits per box. But I guess "average" really doesn't mean guarantee.

Was there any signs of the box being resealed? There might have been some tampering. They might have took out the hobby packs, bought retail blasters and filled them with those, then resealed it. I just can't see a legitimate hobby shop selling the two-time Product of the Year for 1/3 it's regular price, even if it is "in the way."

well if they were tampered with I guess for 35.00 a box im happy. i got 4 hits i guess with the mini/25 and 3 jersey bat cards.
