06 contenders a ripoff?
ive bought two boxes of o6 contenders for a 150 dollars and nothing good came out of either is it a rip?

Dude contenders is so hit and miss you can spend $500 and not get anything decent trust me.

Contenders still isn't as bad as SP Authentic...I saw a case of 2005 SP Authentic busted (12 boxes) and the best card was a Matt Jones Auto/Patch ($150 at the time). At least with Contenders there's more to look for than just the Patch/Autos.

agree with mindcrime...
sp authentic has 1 card that will make or break the box and your looking for that card the whole way...contenders at least gives ya 4-5 autos

my most well known player i got in two boxes was jason avant also he was the highest picked no1 above 4th round

yea but the best thing of contenders than any other is this......you may have gotten nobody's now but one season can catapult some rookies upwards of a$100 bv. You just have to sit on them. some only need good seasons to see their cards jump and contenders for me is the best rookie auto's
