Got a substitute redemption from Topps...
I was supposed to receive a 2006 Topps Heritage Real One Special Edition Autograph of Lou Creekmur. I think these are the ones that were numbered to like 56 or whatever the red hand numbered ones were. That didn't happen as it has been over a year. Today I get the envelope with their replacement and it is a 2006 Topps DeAngelo Williams autograph rc. While it seems good does anyone know the bv of it as I could not find one of the same ones on the bay. I have attached a scan.

I would rather have the Lou Creekmur don't know how they can compare the two autos when one is a known HOFer and you are given a second season nobody in essence. Sorry for your loss, another reason to hate the redemption card.
Lou Creekmur joined Bobby Layne and Doak Walker as only the third offensive player from the Lions vintage years to earn Pro Football Hall of Fame membership. Defensive teammates already in the Hall included Joe Schmidt, Jack Christiansen and Yale Lary

Yea, I was looking forward to the Creekmur. If they had sent me the Reggie Bush from this set.... Thanks for the BVs and the responses.

Stupid redemptions. They really should do away with those. People still buy old product, but if its been past the date, and you get a nice pull, you get jipped. Havent really ever seen anything good come from redmption replacements. Sorry about that man, but I guess something is better than nothing. :-/

you would think these card companies would get it by now,if they can,t fulfill your redemption they should give you something comparable, perhaps let,s see maybe another hall of fame autograph, there is no bv listed for your creekmur redemption so i would like to know how they came up with an 80 dollar card for a replacement,i have received only 1 replacement on a redemption from topps and i actually liked the replacement better but in your case i would call them and see if you could send the williams back for something else as to me that is just an unacceptible replacement, like someone else said a 2nd year nobody for a hall of famer just isn,t right, especially since you know topps probably has a vault load of better replacements they could have sent you, hope you give them a call and let them know you are dissatisfied, let us know what happens take care steve

100% agree with spuds there. You know they have PLENTY of other cards that they are probably wondering what they are going to do with. Well here is a good opportunity to do some good with them. Hopefully you do try to get in touch with them for something better

I got burned on a redemption from Fleer....so much that I would never buy another Fleer product. I had a masterpiece auto redemption of Plaxico Burress, but this was sent just prior to their bankruptcy.....I did get cards, 3 - an auto of Heupal (sp?) QB from Dolphins that never played, then a GU of Isaac Bruce and then another scrub. All 3 cards should have been serial numbered if found in packs, but these 3 were un numbered........so I got 3 cards with NO real value. At least you got a decent auto in return......although not real comparable.
