What retail boxes seem to be worth while?

I don't have a card shop near where I am. So, I have to resort to Kmart and Walmart. What are some decent retail brands that have higher chances at a decent hit? I tried a box of UD Artifacts (which I really like the card) and Donruss Leaf Stars and Rookies. Both boxes held nothing but base. Id like to get at least a GU so I might have something to use as trade bait. LMK what you all think.

ur better off going to a cheap online site where you can be garunteed these things

I agree, stay away from retail if possible. Many times the cards are different from hobby and some of the better cards are not available in retail. The Topps Chrome blasters were OK this year but definately hit or miss.

hey ive had really good luck with both topps chrome and absolute memorabilia retail boxes out of chrome i pulled an anthony gonzalez rc auto and out of abs mem i pulled these adrian peterson marks of fame gu jersey and rc jersey collection and good luck with whatever you decide to go with
