    New postage rates, affect

    Christmas cards.

Yes, my better half just showed me the receipt, not $0.41, not even $0.55, but

we had to pay the $0.96 oversize rate on WACH of the 27 cards($25.92)!!!

I wonder if the USPS realized they'd be getting this "Parcel" $$ windfall??

At first I thought it said "sent 27 cards for 96 cents" - thought that was a pretty good deal :)

USPS pricing has become like the tax code. Plenty of ways to squeeze more money out because it's "oversize", "rigid", "has bubble packaging", "contains noxious sportscards", etc...

    Merry Christmas!!

Nope, quite a shock really as she nor I had thought about the USPS changes.

It was almost $40.00 to mail just our cards this year v/s the couple books of stamps in years past.
Oh Well..Not much we can do.
Time to get, or make sure we use smaller "Non-Parcel-Non-Rigid" cards. Hmmm, perhaps there's a bizz op. in here somewhere..lol

    Happy Holidays

Wow, what a ripoff! I hate how the Post Office tries to get this extra money out of you...
