01 Donruss Class of '01 Box Break

Well, this was an odd box. Tons of Seattle Mariner stuff, especially Ichiro.

First, I pulled the Ichiro Bobblehead w/card ($60)

Then I pulled two Ichiro Insert cards, Yearbook and Dominators ($15 each).

The other Mariner item I pulled was a Jamie Moyer JSY/500 w/stiching (BV $15)

I also pulled a few nice numbered rookies of:

George Perez (Blue Jays)
Adam Bernero (Tigers)
Luke Hudson (Rockiers)

Overall, I think I did okay, considering I got the boxes for $40 each. The Bobblehead along should sell for $20+ considering it's his rookie an all. Still, I bought a total of four of these boxes, and sold one. The three I opened didn't contain a single auto. I hope the one I sold has an autograph in it, because it's mighty frustrating for a guy like me (Who hates GU, but loves Autos) to see something like that happen. Oh well. I've ranted long enough. I think I'd take nearly any $15 Auto for it, but before I confirm anythingn with you I'd have to make sure Mad48050 doesn't need it.

Radar - I'd like to get a nice auto or two for the Ichiro considering it's a unique rc. I know you had some nice stuff last time we traded, so LMK what you currently have FT. Thanks.

Pujols - I won't be buying anymore boxes of this stuff, but there is one Donruss Box I do like:

02 Donruss "The Rookies" - At least one auto per box!

However, I guess I didn't do too bad with three boxes of this stuff. I also pulled the Bonds Bobblehead (BV $45) and the Kaz Sasaki Bobblehead (BV $23). In way of GU, I got a Sweet Randy Johnson patch, a nice Bonds GU, and the crappy Moyer. In terms of RCS, I pulled about 12 but the only notable name was Scott Podsednik (traded it). I think I'd be able to get most of my money back if I sold everything....but the worst part is I'm stuck with a bunch of base cards. Anybody want them? I'll sell real cheap. :)

lol, i don't blame ya. yea i saw the johnson patch you posted. i could sell that for a lot more than it goes for on ebay. that was a sweet pull. scott podsednik is as good as you can get aside from the "big 3" (prior/tex/pujols), i honestly thought he should've gotten a lot more roy votes than he actually did considering how quickly he had to adapt to his position and also leading off as a rookie and doing very well at that....

the worst thing about getting multiple boxes of the same brand is the base cards. anyway hope you weren't too disappointed.

How much you think you could sell the Johnson for? Perhaps I'd sell it to you, and you could sell it to whomever.

don't know yet, i haven't talked to my buyer yet. he's not a big buyer of johnson (has other specific players) but don't know if i'd actually want to buy it myself and then re-sell. i only trade and then do whatever (re-trade/sell).
