Oh it's about that time again for Raleigh.

Mike (puckfrmcali) and I will be setting up for that show. Another first timer will be setting up from Virginia Beach also. So there will be four tables with hockey. And the good thing is....... There are people who set up there that tell people (locals), not to come to certain peoples tables. They will be away at the All-Star game. I ran into this proplem last show. So, now I don't have to worry about certain local vendors telling the card show a-goers about not going to certain tables. I have the proof of it and was not pleased. A VB guy and I heard this a couple times and put a complaint in with Ray the promoter.

I guess people don't like it when you have more hockey and better prices than they do. I have had problems with two other dealers in the past blatantly comes to Mike and I's tables and telling the buyers that they have the same cards that we do. The buyers reaction was "they have theirs cheaper than yours". Ask puckfrmcali on that one.

I agree with you Ian. One of my partners and I will be set up at the show this weekend as well, but we've heard it as well. Sad thing is, we deal 95% in wax only. So you know there's only a handful of wax dealers at every show...so it's easy to figure out who is crying and whining.

Anyhow, look forward to seeing you there. By the way, which math class did you end up taking?

I think I will also be at the show saturday.
Last time I went in december was a blast and one of the best show I've been to there.
The only bad thing is $5 entrance fee but last time, it was worth it lol

First day of the show was hopping. Got to see Ian (P-NUT-BUTR) and met Mike (PUCKFROMCALI) as they are set up side by side. Sparky (SparkySportz), Ed (Charlie Hustle) and Pete (pmb0928) are also set up this weekend. I believe Donnie (lanham33) stopped by the tables today as well. And as always, Ryan (Rhyno24) was there. :)

A couple of guys busted their boxes at the table. I'll have pic of their pulls tomorrow.

Can't wait for tomorrow...
