    Lost for the Season

Willie Parker has a Fractured leg. Does this mean that the Steelers are in trouble? I hope not, let's see. Go Davenport and bring in Russell from the practice squad.

Were in trouble I think. Najeh is ok but it takes away that homerun shot. I would almost say we will make it to the playoffs but lose in the first round. In a way something good might come out of it. Fred Taylor should get to go to the pro bowl now.

GREAT news for my Browns- but, as a true football fan, I hate to see someone get hurt, and I hate to see a team lose its shot at going deep into the playoffs because of injury

I don't think we're in trouble just yet. Davenport brings somethin to the table Willie doesn't...Bad weather capability. Think about it, if Pittsburgh thumps the Ravens and by every reason they should, we will clinch the 4 seed and host a wildcard level game. Assuming San Diego keeps winning and wins their opening round game, that punches our ticket for another trip to Foxboro in mid january....bad weather a major possibility on a crappy field. I don't care if you got a running back that can run a 40 in 4 flat, bad weather makes everyone 4.8 runners...that's when you need some guys with a little more beef to pound the rock and grind the clock.

Steelers are in big trouble. Najeh needs to remember to run straight ahead not side to side he stinks at it. But if he goes head long we're ok there and we'll bring someone off the practice squad, probably Russell but with the Steelers you never know.

Fred Taylor gets to go to the ProBowl..... Can the steelers block for Ben is the question he is looking like David Carr this year!

Yeah Roeth is taking more sacks than he should. But alot of it is his fault by getting out of the pocket trying to keep looking for that big play.

Here is the next post you will see somewhere, "New Favorite player, Najah Davenport, hook me up! or I have Davenport for sale!"

Davenport and Russell are still better fits for the Steelers than that guy they released, Staley.
